I genuinely love how this game doesn't shy away from humanizing the Garlean citizenry while simultaneously demonstrating the profound soul-sickness that nationalism infects people with.
i find it funny that we are this powerfull that normal primals are reduced to dungeon boss and you will see later when you guys hit the first trail xD

This part of the game just hurt my soul. Imagine ordinary civilians being so afraid of you they would legit rather die than let you even try to help them. Trying to help people, yet your attempts, your mere presence ends up doing even more harm. And poor Alphinaud and Alisaie… ;_;

Your speculations are a bit dangerous for me because I find myself almost typing things that I shouldn't because I've already beaten the MSQ twice now. I will say that playing through the MSQ a second time was a VERY different experience from the first and I'm just shocked by how many things you seem to be already thinking about at this point.
