I both expected and didn’t expect any of the order of things on the moon! This zone probably had some of the story beats I felt the most conflicted on, but also some moments that have still stuck with me months later. ‘The Martyr’ still wrecks me as an idea!

Ah finally getting your first glimpses of the real story 😀 The dev team did a great job baiting everyone with the trailers, we were not prepared.
To answer the question of why you let him walk away…there is a more pressing problem being the Final Days has returned. At this point he can be ignored he has no power or influence. He and we both know he only wants our full attention, he wants all of us and nothing less. So we can afford to ignore him and he knows he needs to be a bigger threat which he isn't right now. He's a problem for another time.

Eternal fanboy here. I am so thrilled to see all your emotions going through this. When I went through EW I was so completely overwhelmed with excitement at times that I just got teary-eyed. But I had no one to share it with, because I was so far ahead of everyone in my FC or they just weren't as invested as I was. Watching these videos feels almost like playing the whole thing again with someone that is as excited about the experience as was/am.
Also rewatching Fandaniel's speech now gives me shivers. So many facets you just didn't have the chance to understand at the time. And the blending of the two voices <3
People mistrust in the FFXIV team is insane I was so intrigued by Zenos and Fandaniel and they delivered for me a least
