  1. "Rises on a land reborn from the ashes

    With the heavens' true sunset

Blood-red skies tranquil after the storm

    Blessed shadow"

…oh my god that whole block is every expansion story. Ow, my emotions. T_T

  2. Jason Charles Miller was the vocalist for this? Jeez, Square-Enix really likes him. Not only is he the singer for the Shadowbringers/Hades theme, but he was the voice of Raubahn in ARR.

He's also the lead composer for and an occasional guest star on Critical Role. This guy is the ultimate middle aged nerd! Speaking of age, I just checked his age and yesterday was his 50th birthday! Happy birthday dude, here's to 30 more years of awesome music and nerding out!

  3. It feels like it was just yesterday we were all just fresh faced adventurers fighting our first ladybugs. Who’d have known our road would’ve lead to this? My only wish is that I could forget it all and experience it for the first time all over again. But, I suppose it isn’t over just yet either is it? So come my fellow warriors of light. Let us forge ahead and find our end.

  4. I feel like this song is the Scions telling the Warrior of Light to carry on after their sacrifice in the last area and that they will always be with them.

Lines like "Flowing, winding, to an eternal sea" which was the Ancient's equivalent of death, "and yet our hope remain" which would reference how each of their sacrifices changed the area and clear the way for the WoL. While others like "no time for mourning" and "walk on, never look back" is them pushing the WoL on and "through you, we live" and "forge ahead, till the end, we pray" is their promise to watch over the WoL.
