Data center was already confirmed to not be in the 6.0 "launch"
Even if you guys end up being "wrong" (don't think that's likely) this is a good video to put out. When I was listening to Chris sarcastically name all the stuff that could come out in 6.0, the thought that occurred to me is that people might latch on to what they've said about Endwalker being bigger than a modern JRPG to say that maybe all this stuff will be in 6.0. I'd be shocked if all that's in Endwalker day-1. But we all know what gamer hype is like
I too am looking forward to seeing more of Ashes of COPIUM.
Watched this while getting ready for work. Seems like a reasonable stance to take. Assumption is the root of disappoint in MMOs, so temper expectations.
I opened discord between calls (it's a slow day) and the first thing I see is "YOOOOO! Data center travel on the 19th?! Did they get the servers back on track?"

No way, its clearly a mistake. Its gonna be 6.1
So… something my potato brain hadn't really considered, because I kinda breezed over the data center traveling when it was brought up before: Does this mean I can freely travel to a data center that's actually AWAKE while mine is mostly asleep!? I work graveyard, and while the evenings are alive enough to be pretty active, whenever I play at night, the game is just DEAD. Deep Dungeons for some reason queue pretty regularly, but any kind of roulette or raid I queue for will just take roughly a thousand years to pop.
If I can swap to a different data center on weekends to actually play where people are AWAKE, that'd be amazing. I don't really want to LEAVE my data center, but being able to leave sometimes for this purpose would honestly be a HUGE game changer for someone in my position 😮
