FFXIV Endwalker 6.0 – Updated Early Dark Knight level 90 Opener

Original video (still relevant depending on fights) https://youtu.be/Xn06KkwDxJc

Thanks to reviewing my previous rotation with my co tank they enlightened me on the fact that I could move delirium and blood weapon sooner to get them on cd. The vital part about this rotation is to immediately cut your second hard slash combo and go into bloodspillers. Because if you do a second syphon strike first you’ll get 600 extra mana instead of the 200 you’ll get by doing bloodspiller. This makes it so that you don’t overcap mana which I showcased here by going up to 9800 mana instead of the 10200 you’d be at if you use syphon strike instead.

hard slash – edge – syphon strike – delirium/blood weapon – souleater – potion – hard slash – edge – blood spiller – shadow/salted – bloodspiller -carve and spit/shadowbringer – blood spiller – plunge/edge – syphon strike –
salted/shadowbringer – souleater – edge/plunge – hard slash – edge – syphon strike – souleater – hard slash – syphon strike – edge – souleater – bloodspiller

  1. I'll just make an update here instead of making a whole new video with generally the same rotation, but depending on raid buffs it might be worth to pair your first usage of shadowbringer with your second edge right after your potion; not only to get it on cd faster but it would also allow you to move your first plunge useage up as well replacing your first shadowbringer in the carve and spit double weave position. If this comment is confusing let me know and I can make another video to demonstrate.

  2. What’s your overall opinion on DRK 6.0? I’ve seen nothing but hate all over the internet for it. It’s still a power house, still looks fun to play with an active rotation, and still has some sustain.

I think people underestimate TBN now. Like, TBN lived long enough to see itself become a villain.

You can heal with soul eater right before TBN, then use TBN, and pretty much always get another free soul eater combo in for a free heal. Then we have abyssal in group pulls when used properly.. idk. Maybe I’m tripping but DRK isn’t nearly as bad as people think. Thoughts?
