  1. I'm trying to save a lot of my thoughts until this series is done, but since ya'll actually mentioned it in this one. I'd like to add a bit to it. I struggle a lot at putting my thoughts into words, but I am going to try. So, my apologies in advance!
For anyone who reads this comment I'm going to give a CW for mental health.

Without getting too personal. Hi, I am that person with crippling depression, anxiety, and a multitude of other mental disabilities. So the tragedy of Hermes, Amon, and Fandaniel was something that hit me EXTREMELY hard. I understood it SO well. I feel like Hermes has become another polarizing character who is extremely misunderstood a lot and it makes me so sad.

EW as a whole hit me extremely hard to the point I had to take things slow because of how it was affecting me and at the behest of my friend listening to me play through it to take it slow. There was hardly a moment in EW that I wasn't crying, because the happy parts are plagued with the overwhelming dread that you know is happening and then what was still to come at the end.

There is another character that I love and relate to whom I will not mention by name who's also clearly ND like Hermes(at least to me someone who is) and exhibits signs of depression, but shows heavily as apathy. I'm kinda dreading when they eventually come up in these talks. Purely because I know where convos about them lead most of the time lol.

  3. I feel the opening narration for Thanvair didn't hit the same in English as it did in Japanese. Emet in Japanese was getting audiably sick while the WoL and The Boys were getting sick. I was disappointed with the English version where it was just awkward pauses.

  4. I always wondered how much the dragons were meant to reflect the personalities of their mythological namesakes e.g., Ratatoskr is also the name of the squirrel (I think?) that in Norse mythology lives an energetic, carefree life in the world tree, and Nidhogg is a dragon-type creature that gnaws at the roots of the world tree and his names means something like "to strike with menace".
