I looked at this fight as a mercy kill. Sphene was a wonderful person, but what she was trying to do was wrong and, even then, unsustainable. In the end, she was a friend, and a real friend would stop you from doing the unthinkable.
I do wonder what the Extreme is going to look like with Normal having Absolute Authority… It kinda feels like an Extreme mechanic as is, but they're likely going to add something to it.
