The mech where that circle moves around and throws out line aoes is awesome
You know, I quite like that this theme isn't so intense or bombastic as the themes of prior expansions.
The Dev team has clearly tried to portray Dawntrail as far more adventurous, joyful and fun than the exceedingly dire circumstances of the previous expansions. I think this theme manages to convey a moderate level of intensity fitting of new challenges, while the background elements really help fill and brighten the track to be in-line with the Devs' intentions for this expansion.
It’s the Abaddon monster from FF9!!! (fought on Terra) I’m loving all the FF9 references on dawntrail!
Song weirdly sounds incredibly empty, reminds me of the whole XVI soundtrack
That was great the beginning was giving me ff13 battle theme vibes lol
That is the most generic theme I have ever heard lol talk about forgettable. Guessing Soken composed this?
Look, it's General Vezax from Ulduar!
Feel like this motif could become quite grating
That warning message chiefs kiss
I mean it’s alright but I had hoped for something more energetic I suppose
The intro really gives me some FFX boss theme vibes.
I'm not a fan of that boss theme personally. I respect that they tried something new, but eh, that doesn't vibe with me. Maybe it will grow on me as I play the expansion though.
Love the mechanic title warning cards, reminds me of when I played Tera.
I also get some people may not like a theme without vocals. I like to think of it like Sieryu. The quiet vocals and mix of instruments allow for more chaotic fights. And we still havent played the dungeons. Who else didnt really like the Endwalker theme until vs Ra-la or doing the first Tower?
this reminds me of the music from ff16, which is great
If anything ever happen to Soken I'm holding each one of you personally accountable.
There is fuckall to heal. This can probably be run without healers day one.
Dawntrails boss music is awesome. It’s got a different vibe than Shadowbringers or Endwalker, but it still gets you pumped.
This is good, but nothing beats Stormblood's Triumph ❤
This is the most Final Fantasy dungeon music I've ever heard! Soken ate again and left no crumbs!
mrhappy did 4 minutes on that last boss using npc trust, xeno use 1 war and 3 dps It took him 3 minutes to kill the same boss, only 1 minute difference.
It's kind of interesting that this is seemingly a fairly random beast that we're hunting. We haven't had a levelling dungeon with stakes this low since Bardam's Mettle (I acknowledge that several of the level 80 and 90 dungeons were also lower stakes). This is in keeping with what they've said about Dawntrail (at least the early part (I for one would rather it stay below Shadowbringers in stakes for the whole thing)) but it's the first real gameplay manifestation of it.
