1. Adjust the gamma value to be the same first before comparison. It will help boost contrast so you should see more pronounce difference of hi-light and shadow. Including the specular and AO. Especially the GTAO that should be more accurate than the existing HBAO+.
2. As the new shader is leaning towards PBR, the lighting detail matters a lot more than before. And the GI for these seems to be not updated yet. So the problem about flat lighting in the shade and no visible glossiness overall should be fixed on the next Benchmark.
3. Subsurface scattering exists in the new version and you'd see it easily on Elzen and Lala's ears. And for Miq, Viera and Hroth ears, maybe because it has furs on another side so they toned it down a little bit?
