Never played FFXI, but they showed some really cool looking environments and enemies!
Idk nothing about FFXI but I'm happy about it if you're happy about it
FFXI still my fav MMO and I miss it even tho I play FFXIV
I'm really excited because FF11 was the only one I missed; at the time it came out I lived in a situation where I didn't have good internet access and so I ended up never getting into it.
Hearing the first login theme, seeing Jeuno (and Dynamis?), Tu'Lia (sky), and Xarcabard… plus those sounds as it transitions into the transition raid (the menu sounds of having to click thru all your menus)… it was so recognizable despite not having played almost 2 decades later.
