This just gets me every fkin time. Have to clean my eyes again

A line once similarly spoken to him by another member of the convocation. "But come, turn your gaze outside the window, my friend. The rains have ceased and we have been graced with another beautiful day." The voice actor for Elidibus (Matt Stokoe) did a fantastic job delivering that line. You can hear the pain and regret. The Ancients' story is tragic but there it's also heartwarming to know that those sent back to the lifestream are free to be reincarnated. Not so with those whose life energy is expended, though. The stakes for which the Ascians were fighting for were high and not a little understandable despite the amount of death and suffering they would have brought about to see their goals met. Fantastic "villains" that remind us that not all things are black and white.
