  3. Not gonna lie I'm not a big fan of Matsuda. I still had a beef with Square Enix for how they made Yuffie DLC a PS5 exclusive because I'm a supporter of FF7 Remake in PS4 whom couldn't get a PS5. I do understand that Square Enix and Sony had extreme close relations over many years because their games had been on their platform, and there's nothing wrong with it. What I'm not ok with, is how Sony's blunder of inadequate PS5 shipping to certain overseas countries, and Square Enix is covering up for Sony's mistakes and screwing the players whom bought FF7 Remake on PS4.

    Shipping Yuffie DLC as a PS5 exclusive, is akin to, for example, playing Endwalker on PS4 and telling you to buy a PS5 to play patch 6.1. It's so unreasonable for people whom couldn't get PS5 because of scalpers. Rightfully DLCs should never ever be a hardware exclusive. It's ok if next expansion uses new hardware, but not DLCs of same game on previous hardware. Sorry for making this rant post that isn't related to FFXIV. I won't miss this CEO for sure, and I pray the next one would do better.
