Was waiting on this one thankyou!
sweet! can u do Brd next plz.
Let's gooooooooooooooooo
For me, reaper still feels strong but a definitive downgrade compared to the old one
I'll have to try using reaper sometime. Maybe tonight. I'll always take a blade over a gun or bow, Guess that means red mage doesn't count
Yo I thought I was just bad lol good to know there's a potential bug. Also forgot about the new ability till yesterday 😅
Definitely worse and way more team dependant.
2:17 not so much that you are unkiklable! 2x hehe
I main RPR and I think the changes have been more of a wash than anything else. RPR is in a fairly good spot right now and I can consistently get 100 BH in most Frontline matches.
Losing Soul Slice hurt, but gaining Harvest Moon charges was an excellent way to give RPR a desperately needed ranged attack. I KNEW something was wrong with Perfectio, I could never seem to claim kills with it. SUPER annoying. I do wish Enshrouded stacks lasted as long as Soul Resonance stacks. It always feels like I have to dump Enshrouded earlier than I desire to get access to Perfectio.
I actually like Reaper. The extra abilities in my opinion make Reapers really solid. I still average 1million damage a game with Reapers, even when it feels like I'm not playing that well. An extra teleport is just greedy, they would be unkillable with an extra teleport. I personally wouldn't change anything about Reaper. I think it's as closed to balanced as it's going to get. Reaper can even duel against Red Mage very competently.
Also what was that game? 😅 Second place only had 500 points and 3rd place barely had 100 points. Any class is good when you're playing against people that bad lol.
I'm enjoying the new Reaper, I can't decide if it's more or less powerful than before, but as a ninja main, I really appreciate the 2 charges of harvest moon, they allow me to prep my target for death before I wrap in, which gives me a bit of harass and counterplay against range. If I could change anything, I'd give grim swathe 10 yalms of range instead of the 8 we currently have, and make it circular rather than a cone, it might be imbalanced this way, but it's real damn annoying to use the cone; hell, I'd be fine with just making it a 5 yalm circle AoE instead.
reaper feels really different this patch- you do less weaving and harvest moon is a gcd
overall though i feel like the job is that much harder to beat down, and has more ability to create one-sided exchanges that spell doom for anyone you manage to isolate
in CC, the second overtime hits this job essentially becomes its own win condition- but you still have the usual issue of relying heavily on Warrant to secure kills. i imagine it's similar in FL- you don't have the same overwhelming power of a nin or sam but you're extremely hard to pin down and you can afford to play really lame
I'm honestly surprised that it's rarely played on Frontline. Personally I don't think it's as team dependant as before the update. Seeing as I'm hitting more than 1mil dmg consistently for a melee🤧.
I must say tho, it is quite disheartening that Perfectio only incapacitates and doesn't give you the kill so I'd just use it as extra Aoe damage when it's available.
Having Access to 2 Harvest moons I must say is kinda OP coz that's where I get most of my kills😂 sometimes I'll just throw it onto a crowd on a ramp on Onsal and I'll see '' oh a knockout 🤧😂''. Very good ability to snipe people
