Sorry for the delay everybody! Our editor Synth unexpectedly came down with Covid and needed some time to get well!

This fight was genuinely SO MUCH fun! I eventually went in to farm the extreme for weapons and can confirm that it only gets even more hectic in the best of ways. For those of us plebs that still haven’t played 4, I still found Barbariccia to be a very memorable character and boss! (Don’t worry, one day I’ll remedy my failing & play 4!!)

  2. You know, canonically speaking, when we use Azem's crystal to summon allies to our side to fight trials, aren't we summoning our other 7 fragments? If so, then Zero couldn't be one of our fragments, unless they totally retcon that lol But I would LOVE if she were; she's a total badass lol I really do not care for Barbariccia's design in this game though, as much as I hate to admit it. It is so drastically different from her original incarnation. Her transformation phase is really REALLY different too, and that was kind of a bummer. Gameplay design wise though, I totally understand the direction they took and why they did it. The fight would have been really nuts if they had made her more like her original design. That being said, this fight was friggin nuts and had me wanting to drink a valium milkshake as a healer. Her damage just. Would. Not. STOP lol Then all the running around like a lunatic while the damage was flying out constantly… ugh. Instantly vowed to NEVER attempt this fight on extreme lmao (No spoilers, but I really felt like this trial was sooooooo much harder than the next one in 6.3 or at least a lot more busy work as a healer).

  4. 1:00:00 no it doesn't bring the aether back, if you kill it in The Source it goes back to the river of aether, if its sealed it, its just sealed it., if you kill it in The Void, it will return with all aether just like scarmiglionne
