FFXIV: 4 Moogle Tomes in 6 Mins with 2 blue mages and low effort (not pros)

Yes, this can be done a lot faster. The point of the video is to share proof of concept. New skills = faster runs. 4 blue mages = optimal.
Bare this in mind before commenting negatively, thanks!

  1. Tank Sac Strat:
    1. Reg tank pulls all the stuff in first area.
    2. Three blues run to 1st boss. Missle boss to death.
    3. Tank dies from horde OUTSIDE boss chamber. Then respawns and takes shortcut to 1st boss chamber
    4. tank and kill trash in next section to open way. (The banded lid)
    5. Repeat 1 thru 3 for second boss for next section.
    6. Tank to before malboro mobs. You die near last pack the diremites but a bit to the right but dont go down the tunnel near BLUs.
    7. BLUs run passed tank and chill in tunnel just before the Misers Hold. Raise Tank after everything deaggros back.
    8. Group kills marbolos to open Misers Hold
    9. Pull remaining mobs into boss. Kill mobs while damaging boss.
    10. BLUs: at ~30-40% hit boss with tingle/moon flute/whistle/final sting combo. (Mileage may vary depending on how many spells you have to stack with final sting hence the % range)
Umm once we had our flow i think we were at 3 to 4 min a run. It was pretty fast.

  2. A couple friends and I are doing the old wanderers palace run where you just have the tank pull door to door and dps everything down and lock enemies out of boss fights. I haven't timed it but it's pretty damn fast and super easy.

  3. You can power level BLU 1-70 in 2 hours tops, now's a great time to help your friends get there:

    1. Go the Amh Araeng (27,29) with a lvl 80 friend, preferably DNC or high aoe dps class
    2. Split your party and have the blue mage cast Flying Sardine for an instantly casted aggro on the Ghilmans (Sardine obtained from Akpallu's in costa del sol by the beach, south)
    3. The DNC will steal aggro from the Ghilman one after another until the entire pack is pulled away from BLU. You may want to get mighty guard on BLU for 40% less damage taken
    4. DNC kills them all, BLU gets 300-350k exp per kill. If DNC steals aggro from BLU and the BLU's enemy name is purple, it will not give you exp. BLU MUST hit first

Just remember that you cannot be in a party for this to work. It works on any mob, but this spot is very dense – you can pull 7 Ghilman here at once if you position the kill point in the dead centre. be very careful not to get one shot, run towards the DNC after each hit. With lvl 60 gear + might guard, you can face tank easily for big pulls. If you find yourself dying, just pull 4 max.

If anyone is on Aether DC, I'll help you out with this

  4. For people who are looking into Rival Wings because of this event, i suggest looking at our discord , Revival Wings, (i can't post the link because it's seen as spamni think) A general PVP hub that is happy to guide any new players so that we all have a better time in our RW matches 😀

there you can see guides for the mode (what does mid do, how to efficiently use the Mechs, how to collect Ceruleum) and ask any questions you have, plus looking for people and groups to run together! Also just to chill and chat in general. My initial suggestion if you are brand new to pvp is go to the wolve's den and read your skills again and test them on the striking dummies, since they work very differently in pvp, and setting your hotbars.

Surely this will make RW and pvp in general much more fun to you 🙂

  5. Cool, but not for me. I prefer to do the daily pvp and msq and also get a ton of XP for my time.
I wouldn't be able to repeat this over and over without aditional rewards. It sounds boring.
