Love your takes. ARR is such a hard sell because it had to be rebuilt and redone after the ness that is 1.0. Once they got that groove back it just keeps getting better. Looking forward to see your alls journey.
Lemme tell you, when I first met Haurchefant, i thought he was going to be a pain in the ass but really, he became the best guy and my best friend ❤
Someone else may have said this before, but ARR was only built with half the budget and development team while the other half worked on keeping 1.0 afloat. Heavensward is a great showing of what the team can do moving forward, and I personally believe that ARR could do with being remade with the fresh, full coat of paint it deserves
4:50 I think Jesse Cox described this aspect best. It's not an MMORPG it's an RPGMMO.
Story for Stormblood is a bit divided whether people like it more or less than Heavensward, depends on what kind of stuff you like, but the dungeons and trials and raids are pretty universally considered to be better, so you're in for a treat, and it somehow keeps getting better.
About tossing the dragons’ eyes, it is said that there were the strong ice and wind aether under Ishgard. It was so strong that it would freeze or cut everything which even dragons would not survive. Aymeric obviously thought damping the eyes there was the safest way to keep the eyes from every living things. Unfortunately, the one who got the eyes were not “alive” 😂😂
