Yknow, its sad but this is how every company is thinking, EVEN though some are getting carried by the people who oppose every monetization idea imaginable. Its almost like.. the gaming industry needs to chill the fuck out and go back to quality over quantity to ensure longevity of a company.
everyone literally pays to be able to even log into the game, and payed for the current expansion already. Nothing they put out is "free". WE ARE PAYING FOR IT.
And for the people who already play FF14 to relax, well now they can relax from relaxing. I mean relaxing can sure get tiring and everyone needs an escape from relaxation sometimes just so they can kick back and relax.
lul "free" pretty sure I payed for the game.. and the expansions.. and monthly to keep the servers running and for content update..
I mean, it worked. This was the final straw that made me buy the game, and who knows how many more are there like me.

For the nitpicker who think they are smarter byt telling "Hurr durr it's not Free, I paid the game, and a sub" Did Island add any cost to what you paid or the monthly fee, will you pay more only for that? No so Yeah it come for free in the sense you don't pay more to have access
