玩了很多年狒狒,一直觉得这游戏缺少打击感,特别是早期的一些职业特效特别拉胯,所以就想着自己试试看重做了一些技能特效,增加了打击感和手感,不过有些技能做的比较夸张,这次带来的是武僧的技能特效预览。

After playing ff14 for many years, I always feel that the game lacks a sense of attack, especially for some early jobs. So I think I’ll try to remake some skill effects, which may increase the sense of attack and hand feeling. However, some skills are over updated, which is my personal interest or aesthetical standard.

Holy sh*t, just discovered all your mods, amazing work, I just hope you can continue and do a summoner one, at least for the basic attacks that bahamut does (Wyrmwave) because you can hardly see him do it…

I like these, except Bootshine. Well, mostly just the audio. It’s grating on my ears, but I suppose that’s a personal thing. Rockbreaker having that huge shockwave is also visually weird, because it makes me think it’s bigger than it actually is. Otherwise, I like it a lot.
Edit: not doing riddle of fire/brotherhood/perfect balance effects? Just saw the paladin one and was curious.
Just an advice since I think you could of done more with the monk version:
1. Remember when monks use to have greased lighting aura? Is it possible to add the effect whenever you apply "twink snakes"? Or maybe make the effect even more unique and fancier. I would be fine if it was just re-added greased lighting aura, but I would love it if you do more with it. I saw you added cool effect for paladin effect called "Fight or Flight" and you even gave them cool wings! I thought maybe you coulda done the same treatment for monks in term of twin snake buff usage.
2. I personally think Elixir Field, Riddle of Fire, Riddle of Earth and Brotherhood aren't really fancy and could use some visual update, but its okay if you don't think so.
The rest are perfect! Sorry if I seem like I am asking too much, it absolutely okay if you don't do it, I'm really grateful you even bothered to make these. Thanks man.

It'd be really cool if there was a separate effect for a buffed bootshine via dragon kick vs a non-buffed one. Like for the normal bootshine the hands don't appear but for a buffed one it does.
This so good! I'm a MNK main and one thing I really dislike the most is how unsatisfying our rotations animation fx are. You'd think that considering it's our core set of skills that we're going to be spamming for like 1000000000x times, they'd make it at least a little cooler so it won't be boring.
It'd be like if BLM was stuck casting fire 1 until level 80. It'd feel horrible.
Luckily for them, it's not. Fire IV is a really nice ability to spam. No one really ever gets bored of seeing Fire IV. It's such a delicious piece of graphic and sound design.
Yet we MNKs seem to have just developed a huge stockholm syndrome for our rotation. Everyone is always complaining that we have a problem. Ask the few MNK mains that exist and you'll have a bunch of different opinions. Usually the biggest that might come is how unchanged our rotation. Doing the same thing over and over again. It feels unrewarding. In my opinion, what's heavily to blame is the lack of any sort of feedback. Our abilities feel like we're slapping cardboard. They have no impact.
Guarantee that if they were to make our core rotation look half as good as this, most of the complaints would be gone.
How do I get this in my game

This is my only problem with the monk. The class is super fun to play but I feel like half of our skills don't have any "punch" to it (get it?).
In all seriousness, while I think the Rockbreaker range is a but over the top, everything else you did with the skills is amazing. Especially with Arm of the Destroyer, great effects, show the range of the attack.
All in all. I need to get this damn mod!
Have you considered trying to use an effect like ninja's bunshin to show the monk doing extra attacks that are "too fast to see"?. Your bootshine feels a bit too long right now, but if you combined the floating fists with "afterimages" of the monks own body doing hits, i think you could make the effect very fast and punchy.
Nice job on the skills! I want to use only a few of the skills without the quake effect – Snap Punch, True strike and demo. But I also want the original animations for the rest of the combo (dragon kick, twin snakes and bootshine) as I prefer those, any chance you can split them up into separate files? As I can't disable the ones I don't like. Thank you!
Thanks for the effects mods, especially Bootshine. I couldn't get over how our most reliable attack is the blandest of them all, even by Monk standards since almost every other attack is plain.
how do i uninstall the mod once installed?
