Estinien is a Special Boi. Challenging New Dungeons for Final Fantasy XIV – Endwalker, my views.

#finalfantasyxiv #finalfantasyfanfestival #endwalker

This video is just a quick one for me to talk about all of the visual content that come out about the dungeons in the Keynote at the Fan Festival. For me, i am happy to learn that dungeons will still unlock from the story which is somthing I quite enjoy in having them linked in that way and not be sporadic. I am also happy that the TRUST system is bringing on a very special Scion 🙂

  1. One cool aspect of the Trust system is how different characters interact with one another as well as the dungeon. It sort feels a little like you're bonding with the Scions. I'm interested to see some of the interplay between Estinien and the other characters

  2. I don't use the trust system myself, but im glad they are expanding on it to make it more exciting for others to use. I'm glad people are getting Estinien for a trust

  3. They must have an absolutely giant QA team to ship these expansions and patches without ever using open beta testing.
As far as dungeons go, I'm most excited for the one with the train, and the one that appears to have forcefields surrounding the environment to keep them safe from whatever is outside.
I tend to not use the Trust system, though honestly more from forgetfulness than malice, as it didn't exist before Shadowbringers, so just stick to old habits. I did use it a couple of times for first runs in a dungeon if I was just enjoying the story and not quite up to dealing with people!

  4. people who preorder an expansion get access to it 4 days earlier. so technically there will be people playing in some sort of early access thing.. that being said you can just buy the expansion 4 days before it drops and start playing right there and then, no idea why would you or anyone else wait 4 days after the game is accessible just to comply with the "official release date". just buy the game on the 18th and start playing on the 19th instead of waiting until the 23rd

  5. I always do the first time throug ha dungeon with Trusts, its more RPG-y that way. plus they have special dialogue. Gotta see everything from my husband Estinien. And then later, gotta grind their Trust levels….

  6. No the Estenien who can solo ultima weapon will not be in your trust party lol. Ironically at level 80 you can solo Ultima Weapon anyway… if you fight it without an item level sync in effect at least. Even though I would likely never use him, I would like to see them add Giaus to the trust system. I can see Fordola making it into the trust system, in fact I would say she is almost likely.

Personally I don't understand people who don't use the trust system for at least their first runs of these dungeons. It is more story thematic, no queue times, and you get to learn the dungeon mechanics without risking anyone else's time or frustration. Getting all the loot the first time is kinda nice too.
