since Data Center travel is going to be released soon-ish, thus (in theory, we don't actually know if there are location restrictions) this could be an actual series, and you can see houses all over the FFXIV world.
Up until now i couldnt decide if i should quit wow or not but after seeing this housing shit i immediately buy the game

people have done some amazing things with their houses. my house is extremely plain compared to others but I didn't want to cut off half the house to use alot of the available item spots for floating or creating different little areas since i'm at 394/400 and areas still feel empty and in need of love. If SE upped the limit we could have would definitely put more detail into it.
There's an apartment building in each district where everyone can get one(but sadly, only one) room to work with. You should be able to afford one soon, they're easily affordable by the end of ARR.
About the trailers PLEASE DO NOT react/watch any of the expansion trailers, because they spoil the story hard, specially the Heavensward trailer. Watch the expansion trailers only when you finish the story quests from the previous expansions or you will get spoiled.

When data center visit is out, I'd love to invite you to my house <3 it's right in front of a big pool in Ul'dah's neighborhood, I really like the area.
Oh, not only the windows light up when it's day and get dark when it's night, the direction of the sunlight varies during the day! In fact there's people that actually choose their plot or window positions based on how the light is gonna shine during the day. I have a lot of windows on my staircase and though it looks quite nice at 7am~10am, it's REALLY bright during the afternoon!!
I played 8 years of XIV and housing never appealed to me, because unlike in XI where housing furnitures can give you a boost in crafting, gardening and even adventuring, here it felt somewhat less integral to my experience.
By the way, in case no one has mentioned it yet, you should be able to turn off party battle animation, itโs just better to distinguish boss attacks, especially when playing as a tank. When doing raid/full party battles, unless you are in ad party that is looking to learn the mechanics blind, should probably watch a fight guide just to have an idea, never hurts to know what to expect. im at level 60- msq and i did a dungeon … like a full party . When the music started in a raid and i was actually fighting the boss … i was actually moved with the sond . Then something happened and i was almost about to cry when we downed the boss in the next cinematic … wtf is this game LOL why do i fucking almost cry playing this game …

This could be an awesome side channel concept, i went around and looked at peoples houses one day . You could just call it Potato and watermelon kun explores , then you can do all kind of side stuff like the golden saucer or ocean fishing , housing and so much more things out there.

Some of the things that people super into housing can do is always kind of crazy to me, some real neat stuff out there.
Also minor comment, but it's Eorzea, not Eorzia. Not too important, but just noticed it on the big thumbnail text.
While a proper house is hard to get, pretty much every player can at least get an apartment. They are only one floor/room and have no outside space, but they are cheaper and actually available.
it's official now that FFXIV is the best MMORPG game as per IGN today.
