  1. One thing I haven't seen enough people talk about, is if SCH new skill Protraction affects LD or not. An extra 10% needed to heal would really hamper the amount of heals needed to resolve WD.

  2. Seriously don’t get some criticisms of the tanks I’ve been hearing.

Gunbreaker (my main) just got smoother due to the cartridge combo change and (more buttons does not = more complexity) and got buffs. Plus we have new even more anime ability.

Warrior gets to use onslaught whenever they want without feeling bad and the inner release change reduces their reliance on gear to feel decent.

Paladin is flashier… which is fine.

Dark Knight plays pretty great Imo. It’s warrior but with mana management and edge. That’s great! The one change I wanted (salted earth) was made, which is awesome.

Some people just want very specific big changes that they never had any intention on implementing so now they’re upset.

  3. Pretty happy with tank changes save for DRK. Blood Weapon could've sorely used the charge treatment and LD could use some love now that Holmgang and Bolide both last 10 seconds. Not to mention the meme level Enhanced Unmend trait…ofc we don't know 6.x encounter design but I would doubt they make a bunch of encounters where we resort to ranged attack spam.

  4. I don't want to make this comment to make you feel angry that you weren't invited, but you're definitely top 3 FF14 content creator for me. Keep up what you do, it's higher quality than most. I hope that next time they'll realize it.

  5. I think taking the invulns too much into account is not a really good idea, since no mechanic in the game requires them. I understand that since they're there people take them into account and think about them, but they're supposed to be nothing more than "oh shit" buttons that are pressed in extreme situations – and because things clearly aren't this way, I'm one of those people who wishes the invulns to be gone entirely. Having a "mechanics don't matter" button is a bad idea imo
