I cried at that "Do not squander it. The legacy I left you." I remembered how angry and pained Emet-Selch was when he heard what he did in the future. I was hoping we would have made an alternate future like what G'raha did when he time-traveled to a past where the WoL didn't die. But no, we closed a time loop. Emet-selch was so good and kind. But thousand of years of despair, loneliness, and burden made him do a lot of bad things. And that thought broke my heart.
No mention of the Dragonstar or Dragons? I like to think that it was the star Metion described as destroyed by a super-weapon and Midgardsormr was on it's journey. But it seems to early in time considering the dragon king arrived and made the pact with Hydaelyn.

I think that's the part that Hermes, and by extension, Meteion, just couldn't grasp.

Just when you think Endwalker can't get any worse, it turns out that almost every other planet that has life in the universe is either now a dead wasteland or its inhabitants wish to die lol…
The only time you will EVER get a chance to quest with those characters, and you didn't do the Trust… /facepalm
omg i cracked tf up at the part where the camera creepily zooms in to meteion's face and i look over at your facecam to see you completely backed away from the camera xD
It's a well constructed scene because even though it can't succeed you so desperately hope Venat can catch her. Thousands of years of trouble started right then and there

This expansion + ShB honestly made FFXIV the best game story of all time for me. So good!
