ENDWALKER changes EVERYTHING!!! – Nobbel's endwalker highlights

Nobbel’s journey on Endwalker expansion for Final Fantasy XIV has not stop to impress the mind of this loremaster. From the begining the story arcs of this expansion are something new and even better than all the previous ones, a marvellous experience where everything falls in the correct places and builds up even more expectations for the epic ends of this book on the FFXIV story. This video only contains a small part of highlitghts from the start of the expansion, but noneless is FULL of epic moments and emotional ones that makes us all cry ( except Nobbel ofc) .

  1. Such a shame they rushed this place. Was originally gonna be a full xpac up until when the thing happens later and then another xpac after that ends where this one Ended. Personally had a hard time caring due to how rushed this was.

edit: I specifically meant the Garlemald arc. Not the entire xpac.

  2. I remember when the first s*icides came and I was like "Is this allowed? Who wrote that part? Ishikawa? Is that you? Are you Yoko Taro's apprentice?' and when Quintus' came I was like "Well, this has to be higher rated game now, holy shit. What the fuck, Square?"

  3. God I disliked the Garlemald arc the only part of the expansion I didnt enjoy but I really didnt enjoy it, it felt so freaking jrpg power of friendship saves the day, us relying on it to save the day at least, very stupid for four characters, we are forcing our help on them while essentially allowing the end of the world to happen so we can save a few individuals, even tho it would have been far better to adress the root of the issue instead spend our time fopping around trying to help people who want to kill us. Quintus is right and tbh the overt goodness we want everyone to aspire to here is simply foolish imo. And we do fail because we do this, not only we are late to stop fandaniel but we also have to go alone to stop them at the moon because we smartly took people susceptible to tempering right into our camp while still in middle of everything, that obviously never coudl have gone wrong.
We were literally told that he will use our morality against us to start the end of the world and we let him, essentially allowing all the deaths that happened due to the final days, because we couldnt get our shit straight. The characters were behaving like they knew this was agame and they were protagonists.

  4. Fun little detail about the Loporrits is that they were foreshadowed in stormblood.

Don't believe me? Then please try and recall who and what exactly Yotsuyu turned herself into…

    …Damn rabbits on the moon

  5. I love how people shit on Zodiark EX for being too easy. Yeah it's easy if you just rely on somebody in the party being a competent danger dorito and follow them around. It's a bit harder for the person actually leading the group who has to know all the mechanics and movement. I suspect most people's experience of it has been joining a PF where the person who created it knows the fight, and have never bothered to learn how to do the movement themselves. To me it's like beating a fight unsynced and complaining it was a cakewalk – yeah if you don't want to learn the actual mechanics that's always been an option if you just want to get a clear, but it doesn't make the fight easy, it just means you're looking to get Riched through the content.

I remember actually blind proging the fight before anybody knew it, and it was an absolute wipe fiesta.

  6. I'm still having problems believing this is an MMORPG. It touch bases on subject that are very relevant to our current state of affairs and also does not shy away from the horrors and consequences in the aftermath. This is like war movie film quality shit right here.

  7. god i remember doing zodiark on release, it was a wipefest. no one knew wtf was happening. then the only trial i got in roulette after was zodiark, where i ended up being the only one of 7 who knew how the fight went. cue me, a baby SGE, doritoing 7 other people in this trial. everyone died to Aldegon (got knocked off the map) and i used lb3 to rez everyone and we cleared. never felt more cool than that. doing bosses on release rocks

  8. the thing about Quintus is that he is of the first legion. he probably hasnt been outside of garlemald in awhile. he doesnt really know first hand the abuses and indignities the non-garleans were made to endure. he was blind to it like Gaius was, because the ideal of garlemald is ignorant to the reality of garlemald. thats the truth of war, the soldiers stationed at home dont know what its like in the places outside of their borders.

I love that you also thought it sounded so much like Patty.

This was my least favorite portion of the story, but it does hit a little different watching it after completing the MSQ. Lot of early clues about where the story was heading at this point that you just wouldn't really understand on your first play through.

  10. the thing about hydaelyn talking about banishing darkness and that she lied is something i always thought about
and actually if you think about it and knows where this all ends not only is she not wrong but also…she never did say she wanted us to banish zodiark if i remember correctly
we just kinda assumed he was the big baddie and the darkness thing because of how the ascians acted and what everyone told us about him
kind of a nice way to look at it if you want

  12. I feel I stand alone but when Quintis' made his choice, I was glad for it.

His refusal to put his people's needs before all else and his inability to place faith in anyone outside his nation made him the least likable. With his death, a young Jules is able to step up and help his people.
