Preach should've absolutely setup the UI and keybinds for her so as she learns she learns something valuable and not weird default setup.
To a newbie it doesn't matter what you start them with but it's really helpful for their future to have them start with reasonable baseline as they won't be learning bad habits or missing very important info like enemy castbar.
