   … probably because if they'd done so 6 months ago, he would've been like "nah", but now there's motivation for even top-end WoW players to look for entertainment elsewhere. I really am loving how all of these high-profile WoW players are starting to play XIV and being like "this game is amazing, how did I never know this existed?"

Blizzard hooked people on Wow early on and set themselves up to be the gold standard. over the years they've kept pushing that image while declining in quality for the last 8-10 years. they gaslit their playerbase to stay with them, cuz they're the pinnacle….. when Rich said, he felt like he left an abusive relationship, there's SO many parallels

25. Huge props for putting Projared here. He got cancelled by two groups of psychotic liars, and he never really recovered even after proving himself innocent.

    I hope more people will be open to giving him a shot especially if you've never heard of him and weren't part of that reactionary cancel culture crowd.

39. I love Preach's over the top expectation for the story. I get that it was totally sarcastic, not knocking the guy….but as he was going through it I was like "dude, you're just describing an rpg." Honestly, he could have been describing an outrageous set piece from just about any rpg….mass effect, WoW, the Witcher, etc. They're all silly.
