  1. im new to FFXIV, but maybe a Mythic+ similar experience from WoW. Has a whole leaderboard with dungeon rotations each season. people climb as far as possible with each dungeon being harder than the last. I am new though and not trying to just push my WoW experience into this mmo. Just thought it would be a good way to keep dungeons relevant

  2. i'll always be kinda sad that hard mode dungeons seemingly just became what variant/criterion is… sure, the new mode is nice and all, but there was something cool about revisiting known dungeons with a bit harder bosses and gimmicks, different route of the same area, etc

  3. This is literally one of the things I hate about the farm for tomes with the Mandeville weapons.
    Imagine having 500/1000 tomes to get and something like 3 dungenes to get certain material.

    So here my example. You need to go to dungeon one (any of the new ones from Ew of story) for a stone or something that drops from end boss. You can't unsync it as well. Same with second dungeon but one of the later ones (for example dead ends) for another item.
    Then for the last one having to do the latest dungeon from patch.

    That means you have to do 3 dungeons that are new or at least in EW. Then

    Just maybe have a fate to do…. but instead of having no idea when it pops that you can go on a tracker (like in Eureka) and go right that one was popped an hour ago it'll be coming back again in the next 10/20 minutes.

    Heck even throw in a b hunt or something….

  4. I am hesitant to say I disagree/agree yet, since they just announced for the 6.5 live letter that Criterion/Variant dungeons will be getting improved rewards. I am not sure I want a full Mythic+ Dungeon extension as I don’t want the game to be exactly like WoW, I want it to be its own thing.

  5. I hardly can find 3 ppl who wants to do extr eme or ULTIMATE content… 😒😒😒😒 let's just Say THAT I GIVE UP TO MY DESIRE TO GET MOLBOLO OR DEMIOZMA MOUNTS CAUSE NOBODY WANTS TO DO IT CAUSE ITS HARD & TONS MUCH TIME TO WASTE ACCORDING CASUAL PLAYERS 🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆

  6. A 1.0 player in a stream I watched told that it was what the old (Hard) dungeons and most lvl50 non MSQ dungeons in ARR were meant to be. They pushed mechanics that were a bit tougher to figure out which meant that some people back in the day kinda dreaded things like Pharos Sirius in the Expert Roulette, because Ilevel was lower, stats were lower, the job and encounter philosophy were in its infancy, there were not a lot of markers and people were pretty bad at the game.

  7. If they would make the combat system action combat, I’m pretty sure the dungeons would feel more impactful without putting you to sleep mid way through. Like that’s literally what’s keeping me from ever playing FFXIV again is the fact that they still utilize that old worn out tab target combat with flashy skills. The only thing that’s good about dungeons is the visuals and the music.

    I come from world of warcraft where this difficulty exists and it ruined the whole community. Since it came to be, it became worse and worse. I don't want to lose my new favorite game and wholesome community I found
