Don't Get Permabanned in FFXIV by Stream Sniping | Pekora Ch.

The FFXIV Mods have stepped in swiftly and effectively to take care of stream snipers. I want to take a moment to talk about mobbing online in FFXIV and why players should understand healthy boundaries from their favorite content creators.

  1. I'm part of the community for a rather small streamer and we do that where we'll find him and hang around in the background and do things like wave or dance and be silly but.. that using big mounts to obscure mobs? PEOPLE DID THAT SHIT IN WOW. Don't be wow ff14 players, you are better than that.

  2. IRyS (a hololive EN member) did her stream while hiding her server and name, but her name was revealed by a coincidence. However, it was peaceful because her fans caught her attention by forming fat chocobo lines from a distance rather than bothering her. It was wholesome and very streamer friendly.

I think we can expect this kind of precaution from them in the future.

  3. When I saw a YT video of you and realized you were on my server, I went and found you in game. I said hi but kept myself chill because I am old man and didn't think you'd be appreciate getting creeped on. Fortunately you made me a friend and allowed me to join your FC. Thanks for being cool 😎

A Nijisanji EN member Millie Parfait has been playing FFXIV as well. She's also taken precautions like IRyS. Nijisanji is another vtuber agency like Hololive that is big in Japan but not so much in EN as Hololive is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIlUkEkG6F8 👍🏽✌🏽

  5. I think the only streamer I’ve directly interacted with in any way/shape/form in game is Mr Happy when he puts up PFs to run daily roulettes sometimes. I honestly think this is enough and have no reason to go stalk him or anyone else in game. Really, the stream chat is the best place to interact with streamers and if they ever ASK for help or groups in game then you are more than welcome to try and join them. Otherwise, just enjoy them enjoying the game on stream and leave it at that.

  6. I have never understood stream snipers. Nothing more than attention seekers who are incapable of putting other people above themselves.

6 year FFXIV veteran here. I help others when I can, otherwise I just do my own thing. Prefer just watching people like you on your streams discover what I have been enjoying for years, on my 2nd monitor while I relic or mount farm on my main screen.

  8. I don't understand the thought process of these people, if your favorite content creator decides to try a game you play would you not want them to enjoy the experience and have a good time so they don't up and leave because a bunch of people mobbed their screen and made it hard to play the game?
