Yay! This is your first live launch trailer reaction with us. We seldom tell sprouts to watch launch trailers so being able to do so as a veteran is something special. I'm glad you're with us and I will be looking forward to going thru the adventure with us.
Going to be honest, it's hard for me to get excited about this because I'm stuck once again grinding my wheels trying to start Heavensward. But it looks good and I'm happy for people who are excited.
Good catch on noticing that the invasion scene looked like it was happening in Tulliyolal. That's kind of distressing.
Oh, and finding Vallagarmanda at least appearing to be entombed in ice in actually a FF6 reference lol
Not sure what to make of the Maiden at the end. Her dialogue gives off some very Ascian/Ancient vibes (I mean, when someone mentions a great sacrifice there's only one thing I think of) but that might just be a red herring. It feels maybe a little too obvious. One major note is that the other language versions are actually quite different from the English version. Much more malevolent and threatening than the English version not just in tone but also in choice of words. It's worth looking into
The French version of the Maiden says " The key to complete this task/quest is now in my hands… And I will not fail" in a slightly darker voice.
