  1. i'm sure someone has informed the boys by now, but CBU (Creative Business Unit) actually is working on allowing your account to be transferred to different regions. They're currently testing transfers to OCE. With any luck they actually will allow for players to jump to different regions and play abroad.

  2. Damn, such a shame Grant stopped playing FFXIV. I know ARR is a grind and not great, But in my opinion, it sets up for the best story I have EVER played. Heavensward is GREAT but Shadowbringers & Endwalker is what made FFXIV my favorite story of all time, alongside One Piece, Hunter x Hunter and Vinland Saga. It's literally that good! Shadowbringers & Endwalker literally changed my life. And nothing ever made me cry as much as those two expansions. But you can't skip anything if you want the pay off…

  3. I remember my only problem being reinstalling the free trial on my computer due to hard drive wipe, since the only option was to "start the free trial". Luckily some reddit thread forwarded the launcher that let me use my already existing account.

Also when actually purchasing the game, it kept giving me error messages solely due to me using Firefox, everything went okay when I switched to Chrome.

  4. Mog Station is such a trash that they "banned" everyone who used different country in payment details. And you can't change it so if you move to different country, you are screwed.

  5. I ran into my own problem trying to play FF14 as well. Because I tried playing this game before the free trial was a thing where you can play up to Havensward I can't play the free trial. I've tried making new accounts and it just won't let me. Idk why.

  6. just wanted to mention, you're not region locked hahaha. When you're in game you can create a character on EU, NA, OCE or JP no matter where you live, you just have to change the region in the menu screen

  7. Weird it must only be a pain in the ass for the Japanese version because I was able to start my free trial with no issues and my gf who lives in the UK was able to make an account on the America server to play with me without any issues either? Or maybe there is only issues when you have to pay for something? We haven't payed for anything we are just playing the free trial

  8. I've been playing since Stormblood was announced. I was never bothered by MogStation, but I recently changed my main email, but whenever I try to change it, my new email never gets the confirmation link.

  9. The reason why it worked in the studio and not when Connor did it on his phone is because his selected credit card was probably from outside Japan. Digital purchases on Amazon require a payment option where the billing address is in the region of the item you're buying.
