If you are coming from World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy 14, the Elder Scrolls Online or Black Desert Online then Guild Wars 2 must feel like a totally different MMO. I’ve seen a surge of questions from people that want to try out Guild Wars 2 on Reddit. So, I decided to name a couple of huge differences between Guild Wars 2 and more traditional MMO’s.
There are a number of things I did not cover because I don’t want to make this video too long for new players. Give the game a shot, it’s free and has great reviews!

Having played both FF and GW2, FF is the better game, that being said GW2 is amazing and is better for people who don't want to play much.
Played wow since tbc in 2007, also played FF14 for the last 3 months. Playing GW2 since 2017. Those games give you different experience each. I love wow at least i did pre BFA, for FF i only like the story but i couldnt get really into the game. For GW2 i can only say… this game is amazing, the open world and the combat mechanics are outstanding in my opinion… it definitely worth trying
Also important: No gear treadmill. Ones you get a piece of gear, it will never be outdated. I have a bow that is over 8years old and still BiS.
Maybe add the basics of fields and blasting, that'll be a fun concept for a total newbie.
