  1. To answer a little of your confusion, as Sophie pointed out, Tiamat was tempered to a slight degree, but that was because she was the summoner of Bahamut and summoners automatically become tempered upon a summoning. Her tempering was far lesser though because instead of an object of worship she saw Bahamut as her mate, and she is a great wyrm which means she is powerful enough to negate the tempering to an extent. It makes sense that scales from the first brood would act as poweful catalyst for the creation of the warding scales because great wyrms are powerful enough to fight primals without becoming tempered. Hope that helps.

  2. Amon was not just a Boss in CT, he was a very prominent Figure in the allagan Empire. He was the one who invented the cloning technologies, created many chimeras and if my memory serves me right, cloned Xande after he died the first time. The Xande-Clone later captured Bahamut in Dalamud for his energy.

  3. It's funny talking to Thancred and Urianger while they're sick. Thancred admits that the sickness is worse than his worst night of drinking and Urianger is just "…" because he got tanked so hard.

  4. at first I thought "We should have brought Tataru wih us if Estinien is this bad with money"

then "Wait, then she would get aether sickness too, nononononono"

but then "Even with aether sickeness, Tataru would muster enough determination to stop Estinien he would feel the shiver down his spine"

  6. Emet speech in the beginning is funnier in Japanese, he actually sound taken aback when we were hit by aether sickness.

Not saying the English isn't better, heck Emet personality in the English version is far amusing and fun to watch than his Japanese version, the Japanese version sound too strict and arrogant. But for that particular dialogue the Japanese is a bit better.

  7. So this is information that you can only pick up if you were a Goldsmith doing their crafting questlines. Every minion(robotic kind) have an aether like crystal core inside them that gives them their "life" so to speak. So it's easy enough for a dragon eye to act the same way for a life like Minion.
