  1. From a former WoW player who used to enjoy WoW, FFXIV is where it's at now. FFXIV story, music, gameplay, everything is great about it and I recommand anyone who played WoW to give it a try! play it for free up to level 60, do everything and if you enjoy it, sub and continue to play though the expansions! It's a great ride so far and I don't see it dropping anytime soon.

  2. Final Fantasy was one of the best MMOs ive played so far…and i have played way to many way to long.
Leveling took a while…and at first i freaked out, because i could see how long it will take to max level. But at the end its was a good and fun journey. The way they "incentivize" veteran players to engage in lower content, because you need to finish some raids/dungeons etc, is really smart. Sometimes it was hindering not finding anyone late in the evening and really frustrating.
Some of the Main Storty Quests still took to long – run here talk there run there etc. (MSQ). Base Game was a drag sometimes. After that it gets better and better and better….Shadowbringers..oh man that was really quite a ride.

  3. Dig into FFXIV, Bell. You'll enjoy a lot, and find plenty more you won't like, I assure you. But at the end of the day, being treated well by the Devs outweighs anything I agree with. (Also, come be amazed at how often the Devs go 'Oh you want this? Have it' instead of arguing with us and saying 'get gud'. 😛

  5. WoW's been dying for like 10 years, FF14 is only rising in numbers. I think the real problem is that Blizzard isn't trying to save the game, it feels like they only want to make some quick cash before WoW completely dies out and players feel that, making the game loose even more players.

  6. Wish i could enjoy FF but its just too cheesy and the looks are so retarded that it kills every fun for me. Still hoping someday a good MMO will come out i can enjoy again. A Simple one, with simple looks. Humans vs Orcs etc.

  7. Ashes of Creation.. Game with no storyline.. Game I know absolutely nothing about… I will rather play FF or WOW with decade+ storyline and memories

  8. I mean they could try to hit Endwalker with a 9.1.5 but I doubt it would have much effect. Endwalker has a bunch of hype around it and I don't think WoW could do much damage to that. Also, I may be in the minority but there was nothing jaw dropping about Stormblood, it was a boring expansion with boring development and lots of shouting ALA MHIGOOOOOOOOOO. Heavensward and Shadowbringers blow Stormblood out of the water.

  9. I think most people who think WoW's story is good, genuinely haven't played good story telling or world building games. I think what happens is, they LIKE the franchise, so they spend so long fantasizing about the what ifs that any time one thing they've thought about happens, it gratifies their mind into being the best thing ever because they thought of it. Blizzard's writing teams are in shambles, each doing their own thing in the same vein to how vastly different all the 40k novels are from each other. It's a patchwork of hopefuls who can't put together anything long lasting or cohesive, who kill off anybody interesting and use their fan favourites as throwaway bosses without replacing them with anything good. So to say WoW is better than "most JRPGs" is Bellular's pure fanboy shillism mindset. WoW's not even better than most western RPGs, it just is.

  10. Wow 9.1 players brought back: like 12? Wow TBC 2 mill+. I’m assuming good ashes won’t push its release over something that a lot of people have said will only be worthy as an x pac because we fight slyvanus who prolly won’t even die. Systems have really torn WoW apart since the start of BfA. Also ashes wasn’t all together at the studio.
