I think the worst is not having the error at login, is when you leave the game on a 4k queue and come back to a 2002 error.
So you cant even like live your life while waiting. You have to keep checking every 10 minutes.

Heavensward had a somewhat rocky launch but by the end of Early access it seems to run fine except few disconnects here and there !!
Stormblood was bad ….why the hell would they gate the new zones behind a solo duty (que the error code montage)
Shadowbringers was constant server crashes as well but you could still get in to an extent !!
Endwalker is shadowbringers launch issues but doubled !!!
Give it a week and a half or 2 weeks and it will be working

He's on Aether, it's much worse than Crystal. I have a character on Aether and get 2002'd a lot, but when I can try to log in the queues are 6k if I'm lucky, 8k+ if not. My character on Crystal though, no 2002's and usually max 4k queues, often only 2-3k. I'm so glad I moved my main character when they offered free transfers a while back!

Just for the lols tried making a new toon on a na server: creation successful and 26 ppl queue flashed by in seconds
