Checking out the FFXIV Trailer for the Heavensward 3.5 Patch, The Far Edge of Fate.

Interesting to see some of the things that have changed drastically since 3.5 released. Completed most of the content, but still have a few things to complete before I’ll be ready for Stormblood.

  1. I totally miss these long patch trailers! It was so hype seeing this one in particular at the time.

    A couple of things I thought were really interesting:
    1) They show the Queen's Handmaiden boss in Dun Scaith since this was before they added Proto Ultima to the raid.
    2) They closed the Diadem off for a long time in Heavensward before releasing the Emergency Mission update in this trailer. The Emergency Mission was practically impossible to spawn and dropped the BiS weapons for the whole expansion, provided that you got good RNG on substats. LOL

    Really enjoyed watching the fresh perspective!
