Preach talked about Alliance Raids in FFXIV, here’s my thoughts on it. Also Endwalker is almost here!

Boom first. Thank you for helping me through the EW waiting room the past couple months, Rurikan!
Group C: Just stay alive and try to not kill anyone else
I did not play 12 or 10 and Ivalice is heads and shoulders my favorite alliance raid. Nier is my least favorite, no lore for 14 in it and the aesthetics for the last two raids doesn't do anything for me.
u can use the mouse even when the gamepad is on
i have 2 ps4 controller and 2 xbox one controller and yeah i love using controller for this game as with all final fantasy games i like the new xbox controller is pretty awesome.
Yeah, the ressing other Alliance healers is a toughy for me too on controller. With a Mouse I could just click on them, with a controller I first need to find them, then walk up to them so I am close enough to select them and then I can ressurect them.
Delibrum first time was a TERRIFYING experience for me due to the 2 hit doom, but as time went on I learned to love the place, it's actually pretty damn fair.
8:15 Yup pretty much defines most alliance raid (Especially StormBlood and the Nier alliance raid)
In the case the eye was to not face the player who has the eye, but it was close enough! which shows how well they teach even ways.
You can use the touchpad as a mouse. Without entering virtual mouse mode. I’d be kinda surprised if you didn’t know that, though. Unless you are using an Xbox controller. Kind of a cool feature that Xbox controller users miss out on, I never thought about that before. BUT the tip about pressing the select button to get to the alliance menu is clutch. What a great tip!!!!
I skip all cutscenes in all games 🙂 lore is boring.
the achievement from heroic raids in wow to do normal, is correct. no achy, people wont bring you in.
also to add, the LFR has a buff. its the stack of determination. when the LFR group wipes, you get 1 stack.
you are correct, in dragon soul cata, you can stand in bad stuff and never die. however in MOP, they used mechanics that will kill you if you stand in bad stuff.
WOD was the introduction to the stacks buff due to people wiping in blackrock raid LFR. to say there isnt any mechanics in LFR, is only for those who have a group of players that go into normal+. so yes, i get the point why you say there isnt. but those WHO actually go into LFR, would disagree, and say um yes there is.
but wow does a terriable job teaching, cause they have addons that do the job for them.
What are the chances that the person that said he disrespected the content by not try-harding it used the word "bro" while doing so?
Preach doesn't use gshade but his editor does that edits the videos.
I just love how happy Preach seems. Like seriously the smiles are genuine, he seems more relaxed, and just enjoying the ride.
i tried to play wow back in wod and the biggest mistake i made was expecting a story i could follow until current content
i dont care about rotation either
Even if you insist on using a worse device there's nothing that stops you from just grabbing your mouse for a second to click.
It's still funny everytime when idiots complain about their gamepads
L1 and direction buttons until you get the healer. Painful, yes.
Always nice to see how much happier so many WoW players get after playing FFXIV for a while. ♥
