One thing I didn't mention in the video is I don't know how this applies to EU or Oceanic datacenters, I don't play on them at all and have never looked into the issue beyond NA datacenters.

It’s funny even though the fc tags are crossed out, I know what fc it is and that’s a problem. They need to put these ppl on blast. It’s fucked up that these assholes keep people from getting houses it’s so scummy. I have zero respect for these people that hog houses.
I was under the impression it's against TOS if it's clearly the same and it wasn't if there were complete differences between fcs owned by a same account
15mil for 4 level 1 submarines to get started, was like 40mil for the fully upgraded parts for 4 submarines. But that's cause i was lazy.
I've been playing for 10 years, i have no need for gil even before i set up my submarines.
The issue with a ward full of submarine owners, they're RMTing, there's no other way to put it.

I genuinely believe the entire housing system we have should be scrapped and they should take inspiration from how Wildstar Online handled it.
Frankly, i kinda wish wards were FC-owbed and the individual houses inside wards could be owned by members.
Easiest solution: Relocate the Workshop to the GC of your Guild. The need of a House for the Workshop is already complete nuts. If you dont need a House for the Workshop then People losing interest in horting Wards.
This is where 5GOLD makes all their money.
Cause you can’t even hoard that much gold. 10 retainers plus yourself is 11 billion Gil minus 11. Maximum per character. If they’re putting this amount of effort into it, they better go work the stock exchange. Same lifeless effort for the same hoard.
i won a large for my fc a few week ago, was there when drawing happened and stuck around a few hours inspecting players, of the 200 players in the bid for it saw the name Scarlet/scarlett/scarlettt and other variations. all owning an fc of 7-8 players, the scarlets where around lvl 50-70 with there highest class and the members were all lvl 3… presume this was all the same person with multiple accounts, numbering in 30-50characters. man was using 1.5b+ to bid on the house. i presumed it was to rwt, selling the house with fc/house
Making apartments be upgradable is actually a great solution. All outdoor furnishings go to the island sanctuary, all indoor ones go to your penthouse apartment.
300k fora studio apartment
1m for the upgrade
5m for a medium
And 15m for penthouse. Instead of 50m that you’d pay for a large plot.

I dont care if it's technically within tos or not. I will always be for anyone owning several houses besides a personal house and an fc to get an ultimatum what house they want to keep and take away the rest.
I remember I wanted to start playing 14 because the crafting looked cool to me. I liked how difficult making a shelf was in Stormblood and you would make gil off the mb for it. They still have that with expert crafting but I never would of predicted this type of.. solo play lol
Pretty much the same shitshow on EU as well. Solution would be simple: restrict housing to 1 FC-House and 1 Personal-House per account
This person pays so much money per month in subscriptions if they got these houses after the rules changed. Your account cannot have more than 1 house on each server. My brother and I tried to start this tbh and that was the problem we ran into.
I’ve honestly been trying to buy a house for A YEAR now. Every single week I bid on a house (I took a month off the game so no bids that month) and I still lose every single time.
I honestly have the worst luck
its an easy fix, an FC can only own 1 house, if they want another they have to sell the first one before they are abel to buy a new one, and if you then make that also the rule for players, there would be more houses for ppl in general, and no one can own more then 1 house

If SE would've just gave us instanced housing on sanctuary island, then I believe alot of this would've been alleviated. I will never understand why they force people to go through this system. Some of us just want a house, idc if it's in a community where everyone can see it or not.
Hard disagree, if they are using a loop hole to tie ownership of multiple FC houses to one service account that should 100% be punishable, its the same as abusing a glitch to dupe rare items or get copious ammounts of exp, i dont care about the gil generation nor what its used for, i care that they are hoarding housing states that are hard limited denying people the chance to get it
lol that's for RMT … i mean, if you're meant to only have 1 fc per world- then you're not meant to have more than 4 subs 🤷♀️ just saying
Hey Kaiyoko I gave you a sub was wondering who made your vtuber model I'm looking for one myself with my Viera Dealer.
As a sprout with a new FC, this resonates with me. I haven't really looked for this particular issue because I didn't realize it was a thing. But im trying to get my FC and personal house right now. It has been a struggle to find an empty plot to bid on, on my world. And with the changes being made during the patch I'm not sure how that's going to impact my future attempts. I just wanna get my garden and subs set up. And I know I'm not the only one.
I never bothered trying to get a house until a year into the game and I put in for a lot and got that house so damn fast I was like.. how TF!? Fortunate . But I do see allot of people flipping wards basically.. I had acquaintances that had multiple houses in a ward and clearly were RMT as they spent 23 hours a day in Limsa yet had mad gil. These houses should be stripped from these people. 1 house per character should come standard without bidding.
I feel like, if they made the limit 'one of each type per service account', that would fix some of the issues.
