Let's be real the only reason FFXIV was there this year is because they couldn't think about another nominee to fill the gap.
FFXIV really didn't do shit to deserve it this year
Hate to say it but there hasn’t really been great patches outside of the fall guys event collaboration but most people are done with that by now. I say that as I’m currently only helping friends in ultimate fights, doing criterion savage for the weapon and keeping my house. It’s good to hear cyberpunk doing well from its awful launch
They actually released the last contentpatch ever because they are focusing on Cyberpunk 2

Much as I feel that XIV didn't deserve that award, seeing it go to Cyberpunk was definitely a "?????" moment IMO
Should've gone to either Genshin or Fortnite; both games have had stellar years (speaking from experience for Genshin and hearsay for Fortnite).

Nah, Cyberpunk really did deserve having a bone thrown to them this year specifically. FF14's been quiet, and Genshin was mid af for most of the year until Fontaine.
Next year will be FF14 and Genshin having a knife fight over the award, unless Genshin fucks up Natlan (they probably will).
EW lives up to its acronym, it's the worst expansion
CP2077 shouldn't be in this category. Regardless of that, I think. WoW, Genshin, Apex Legends, and even Fall Guys have done a better job that 14. 😂🫵

cyberpunk should not have even been nominated. tf. And where tf is WoW in this? Diablo 3 probably deserves it more than Cyberpunk. just another sign of how lost the majority of the gaming community has become.
To be fair, over the past 3 years they have patched cyberpunk 20+ times. And released a massive dlc pack. Cyberpunk and ffxiv are kinda similar in the sense they both released as shit games, but both worked really hard to make it better. Most studios would have just droped these games. I think its commendable. ^^
