Just a quick show of framerate on PS5 version of FFXIV…
I think there a glitch when you selecting resolution mode… Wich even I select WQHD and 1080p, I didn’t notice difference… and the framerate is the same whatever I selected…
So, I think, even if I select WQHD & 1080p, the games run at 4k native.
The twist here, is the PS4 version on PS5 runs better in Limsa, than PS5 version (1080p PS4 vs 4k PS5).
You can also view the loading difference here… (plop twist, PS5 Wins)
I also noticed that 1080p and WQHD run about the same. You should do an analysis running out in the field or doing battles.
For some reason my 4K mode only runs at 30fpa
Ff14 is 60 fps on ps4?
I so wish they can bring back ffxi to the consoles
Lol this is not in 4K, he bamboozling ppl lmfao
The PS5 version performing similarly bad across 4k, 1440p and 1080p makes it clear that this is not a GPU issue. No idea what the problem could be though since I don't think the game runs on higher settings than it did on the PS4 version.
Lol its really no better then the PS4 pro version other then speed. Meh SE has work to do.
too me its not to bad with the 45 to 60 flux.Seen worse.
Someone help me, i play it in ps5 in 1080p version, in ivalice raids the fps fall to 10 or 20, wtf is happening? O.o
Is connection or the beta is broken? I don't understand….
Damn.. console trash even on a new gen can barely do 60 fps while the real version on pc is in the hundreds literally… 😂
Must be fake Bec on my ps5 it runs at smooth 60 lol
I see no differences between the two lol
I was actually expecting the ps5 to be better performing than that, it kinda looks like the graphics settings have been bumped down a notch too for running it in 4k. If I was on ps5 I'd probably stick to 1080p for a smoother experience – resolution really isn't everything. I have an rtx 2080 (regular not ti) and I'm thankfully able to max everything at 4k except Screen Space Ambient Occlusion which I set to light, 'cos it really hits the framerate in some places and stable 60fps is my minimum.
Btw f you're on pc and on a budget, or just looking to build a gaming rig, it's probably a good time to snag up a preowned last-gen graphics card like the 2080 as people are upgrading. Or even ask around, see if anyone you know has one; it's probably just collecting dust and some of those cards are still amazing.
CPU bottleneck confirmed, Zen2 in consoles is super gimped
