  1. That toggleable hidden hotbar macro is a godsend. I had a duty specific HUD but this makes it so much less awkward to make things disappear! Now I can hide my shame, er, my job and emote icons at will ;__;

  2. The Log Window Zoom function has always been something I thought only accessible for controller players, so this is a pleasant surprise.

  3. There is one situation I can think of where you would not want auto-targeting and that is when everyone is waiting to start attacking an S-rank or A-rank mark, or when waiting for a countdown before starting a boss fight. If someone has auto-targeting toggled on and accidentally presses one of their attacking skills, it's an early pull and people are gonna be mad.

  4. Me playing with a resolution of 5120×1440, Swaping jobs over the character menu, starting ready checks and countdowns over the menu. Watching a video over Ui managment.

  6. If you are using Dalamud, the Simple Tweaks Plugin has an option for the confirm button to select the 'yes' option in dialog boxes by default. It allows you to spam the confirm button to get through dialog boxes faster.

  7. quick tip. you can short hand /countdown into /cd. so if you need custom pull timers for say someone in your party needs at least 15 seconds of prep (astro) vs no one in does. you can just /cd 10, /cd 15 or /cd 20

  9. Just stumbled across your videos, nice content! Even with 15k hours under my belt I still found something I wasn’t aware of. Thank you for highlighting the recast timer setting, that’s a godsend. Take my sub!

  10. @Confirm Keybind
    I personally use Target Filters (X by default) to click on crowded npcs. It removes player nameplates and the ability to target them when held down, letting you click on any npc a beefy boy is on top of!

  12. I recommend making a more advanced macro setup that uses hotbar copying to use less of your hotbars for jobs etc. That's 3 hotbars you're losing that could just as easily be a single hotbar with copy macros to swap between them.

  13. As a newbie tank it has always been difficult to figure out how other tanks were hitting the countdown and stuff like waymarks so easily when it takes me forever to open the menu manually. I put the waymark ABCD on my disappearing hotbar for when I need them along with the basic target markers. It probably isn't enough for proper raiding, but it helps. I'll definitely give your countdown macro a try too.
