Played beta, then didn't play until a few years ago and I basically solo'd the game up until I beat shadowbringers. Played until I got to the moon in endwalker then I quit. The multiplayer content is not for me. At all. Have no desire to play with random people of which most have a huge stick up their ass. Nearly leveled all the classes up but I just didn't care enough about the childish adults. I mean, I followed a few people here and there but I didn't like any of them so I stopped watching. Many many more games available with quite a bit less animosity. I don't say that mockingly either. I want to enjoy FF14 but I just can't.
I'm like a newbie non newbie. I mean, I grew up playing all the FFs and my first completed final fantasy was adventure. I get so much anxiety playing FF14. I played SWTOR solo before they nerfed it, and it was already really easy but zero animosity. Been playing SWG ATM. I don't think I'll ever come back to FF14. I'm at work and it's an early Sunday morning so blabbing is quite easy ATM.
I even tried getting my kids, 7, 9 and 12 playing and yeah, that didn't work. They played until about lvl 40-50 and quit.
