  1. Hello everyone,

I hope you enjoyed this collaboration between Flamish and me. It was such a fun conversation and he seems like an awesome person!

I just wanted to say that I did the editing, and I did not intentionally make his couch disappear. It was a technical issue, but I know how to resolve it going forward.

I look forward to any future collaborations to be had!

  2. I'm someone, who could never play FF14 on a controller, especially as a healer because of all the targetting of other players xD
Also, placing some skills on the ground (which the healers all have) is easier on mouse, I think.

  3. There is no wrong way to play tbh.

In terms of controller or keyboard/mouse both are viable.

Main notes: Classes flesh out at 50, 60, 70, and 80 where your full kit and rotation feels very different from the prior levels

  4. Nice Conversation. Jake, one advice that i can give you is always play what you enjoy most ! Al Jobs are absolutley viable in Endgame. Also, Put that Limitbreak Command in your Skillbar ^^.

  5. My take on kb/m vs controller: both are really good for FFXIV. IMHO it's way easier to customize the HUD for kb/m, since for controller you have to work around the crosshotbar. That is the only gripe I have as a controller user.

  6. Both me and my BF use controller on PC. For some stuff like menu navigation, I still use the keyboard and mouse. But combat feels good on controller. I have no delay. I like the cross hotbars. feels more organized. I know a lot of people say healers are rough on controller but even when playing astro, I have no problems. Mainly I play all PC games on controller to save the stress on my hands. arthritis and carpal tunnel runs in my family and I get a lot of hand stress if I use a mouse, even an ergonomic one, for long amounts of time.

  7. Your bloodletter is an OGCD so you can use it whenever it is available you dont have to wait for the global cooldown is over they make rotations pretty fast pace later on

  8. All classes can be played on 1 character and every class that isnt your highest level gets a massive exp boost that stack with other exp boost you learn you can get other classes after your level 10 or 15 job quest and shows up as a tool tip just go to the class trainer or masters and do their quest they give you the class starting weapon and equip the weapon and your class change you can also save them into loadout to quick swap between set just more knowledge for the sprout

  9. If you decide you want to try out or level other classes/jobs, hunt logs and fates are a great way to get exp for those lower levels until you can start grinding the dungeons. Levequests are also a viable way to get exp, but those have a limited refresh rate.
