Todays guide goes over the Glamour & Dye sytem within Final Fantasy XIV! These two systems will allow you to personal your character with the ability to dye your armor in various colors as well as glam to make your armor look like a different item entirely! We’ll also dive into the glamour dresser and explain how it functions and what you can do with it!
As I do not endgame raid, these two are my personal endgame, I can’t tell you how much time i’ve spent just making new outfits and combinations for various job roles.

I'm still a bit confused about Glamour Dispellers. How do they work?
I just found the dispel option.
Can you not make some undyable items dyable in some way, i think i i've seen some descripction ingame hinting that, I came here hoping for clarification

Thank you so much for video I watched a million on glamor and your is the only one that I really understood you went through step by step and since I only been playing couple of weeks I needed that. SO THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH:)
Sigh…..I am hopeless. I know how to dye, it looks like I can only apply glamour to whatever is in my Armoury chest. However, I’m not sure how to override an existing glamour plate. In the beginning I just have shoes on one LOLOL. I have the dispeller, prisms, and yes I bought metallic dye!!!!!! Lol. Thanks!!
And yes I am using clothing that goes with my RDM or RPR. metallic gold looks awesome on my RDM..

I cant dye when i right click it wont let me just pops up remove plate and i did the quest for it
In my opinion compared to dye systems of other games FF XIV’s Dye system sucks only one section of a piece of gear gets dyed and you cannot select different sections so in other words if you’re dying a chest piece a section you want dyed may not be dyed and a section you don’t want to get dyed will be it’s not a flushed out system it needs a lot of work to make it good.
