Just when i was bored u upload this. Thanks!
the lvl 60 is an A rank hunt. you'll be able to solo it once you reach 80. Even at 70 with good gear, you can solo it. It's meant for a party at lvl 60.
2Caves meets an A-Rank Hunt Target! Basically a level 60 world boss meant for 8+ level 60 people. 🙂
I've forgotten how in that moment when you meet Marcechamp, Alphi and Ysayle walk in and when the camera pans out, Estinien is already leaning against the wall… he's such an edgy boy.
I mean, yeah, Estinien's sass might be a bit of an acquired taste, but his dry personality it's a nice contrast to Ysayle and Alphi's characters.
Ah, yes, you decided to try and kill an A-rank (the dinosaur). Feel your pain. That was me at lvl5 wiht a lvl 50 B rank xD
Also, everyone is surprised to see moogles because they didn't live anywhere besides the Twelveswood and 'the legendary place' that Twelveswood moogles tell themselves. Well, now you know it's not a mythical place 😀
For Ravana, what you called a knockback (Seeing Wing and Seeing Tail) is basically a directional parry. The former being a parry to attacks coming from the left and the right of him and the latter being a parry to attacks coming from the front and back of him. So since he did Seeing Tail and you were attacking his back, he parried you and knocked you back.
With Prelude to Slaughter, if you have enough range, you can avoid the knockback and damage, I think, and with Slaughter, if you stand right behind him at any distance, you will avoid the knockback and damage from that too.
It was good that you killed the adds quick. Moon Spirit and Moon Gana butterflies basically cast an ability that strengthens the phase transition attack that comes after (Bloody Fuller). Not sure if it can still wipe you now, but if multiple adds finish their cast, that damage will get pretty hefty and I'm pretty sure it outright wiped groups if they didn't take care of adds in time in the past.
I don't know why it took me this long to realize your character and Lady Iceheart could be siblings. I enjoyed watching. Keep up the good work! 🙂
The weapon that Shiva was wielding in that fight against Ravana is something you can actually get for yourself. You can get one for your job by doing Shiva EX and getting the Weapon Coffer in addition to it dropping randomly in the loot roll. And you can even get yourself one that glows too. Each time you do Shiva EX, you get a token item automatically. And if you do it 5 times, then you can go to Mor Dhona, and talk to one of the vendors in the big tent and exchange the True Ice Bow and 5 tokens for a Shiva's Diamond Bow which looks the same but it glows when drawn.
Unfortunately, it's ARR content that makes you go through all of the EX trials (except Ultima Weapon) in order from Garuda, Titan, Ifrit, Good King Moggle Mog XII, Ramuh, Leviathan, and finally Shiva. I can understand why you'd be hesitant to take them all on right now. But you can still see what it looks like from that same vendor using the Try On option and toggling on the Draw Weapon button. In fact, all of the ARR primals have weapons with similar systems in place if you favor another element or even a Moogle-themed weapon.
EDIT: How did you enjoy partnering up with Alphy, Ysayle, and ESTINIEEEEEEEEEENN!!! [He's the Azure Dragoon] ? I certainly did not think she would be the Tank if you were a DPS.
Sohm Al is actually the second dungeon in Heavensward. The first one is an optional dungeon in the Coerthas Western Highlands and is linked to one of the Blue Quests in Falcon's Nest that unlock flying there. Since it is not part of the MSQ, it can't be run with NPCs.
I would love to see your reactions to the Manderville quests and, in the total opposite direction, the DRK quests. If you have the chance, that is. 😁
I love the fact that Ysale is shown as stoic person who has strong conviction and then we see her basically behaving like a kid from seeing a moogle.
I both love and hate these fluffy creatures. Some poms have to be ripped off some of their heads tho.
From Hindu epic Ramayana, Ravana is a rakshasa king of the island of Lanka. Ravana was blessed with a boon from Brahma that would make him invincible to all the creations of Brahma, except for humans.
So here, Ravana defeated the deific being (Shiva) yet fell to the mortal
Yep, going forward a lot of the npc dungeons will be accompanied by your friends who are present in the story. Currently Heavensward dungeons only cover the first 3, with the rest coming coming around January.
I salute thine attempt to take down an A-Rank T Rex
7:17 — Yup, terrible idea: that was a world boss ^.^ You need a raid to kill these. Usually, at least: if you reach lvl80, 90, you can easily kill the ARR and HW ones, but SB onwards, you need help… a raid, aka a hunt 🙂
12:30 — You know the drill XD
39:30 — Of course you are – you already defeaded her. Three times 😀
REJOICE IN THE GLORY OF COMBAT
Ravana is a fun fight. Love the fight music for him.
Keep 'em coming!
Lol, Pylraster is an A rank hunt, meant for group kills.
NPCs stealing your LB? Such Devastation!
All tribes have a small group that disagree to some extent to the fanatics, and all of them have a series of quest lines ("beast quests") that will increase your status with that trible and slowly unlocks special rewards. It's a slow work, but most quests expand a lot on lore.
Also, I forgot how annoying Estinien was at first! I only came to slightly like his character on Endwalker
Ysayle loosened the pickle jar for you.
