  1. This comment kinda has to do with this topic but kinda doesnt, anyway as a NIN main, Im in a catch 22 with maining NIN, since Im basically guaranteed to get those pieces of scouting, however if I want to secondary SAM, its basically gearing two jobs unlike if I was running RPR/DRG or so, I could play phys but the only phys I enjoy is MCH and well yeah, I realize they probably wont add another scouting since they just did another melee, but I was always under the impression they prioritized whatever hasn't gotten a new job from a category, so rpr was the maiming addition and next longest without addition would be scouting, maybe Im just being greedy wanting scouting next instead of another caster/phys πŸ˜‚

  2. Really nice video. I love speculating about possible future stuff in games. Definitely looking forward to more videos about that topic. Loved all the additional information or lore you included. If i were to choose betweed those 2 i would go for the crusader. I'm a huge fan of the "holy Paladin/knight" aesthetics. Also, those glams look superb

  3. I wouldn't mind a tank class with a pet like a beast tamer, summon some giant beast thing and use a whip or something as weapon switching between your pet attacking and you attacking with the whip to generate the gauge potentially

  4. If I could 'steal' the tank concept from other games, there are three I would love to see in some form in 'FFXIV'.

The first is "Guardian Druid" from 'WoW'. I would love to have a shapeshifting job in the game. And although there is already a job in FF with this name, I would suggest calling it the "Beastmaster". But instead of taming other creatures, you are the beast yourself. When you transform, you'll need to balance two different 'energies' (similar to the RDM) to use some of the higher skills.

The second is also from 'WoW', the "Brewmaster". It could use either a staff or dual-wield clubs/short swords/Sai. And the "Salve-Maker" from 'Knights of the Crystals' could be the main template. "Salve-Maker" uses items for attacking, defence and support – just like the "Brewmaster" uses different brews for the same.

And the last job is from 'Lotro', the "Warden". I wouldn't change much, but stick to shield and spear while mixing combos to gain effects which increase their defence and attack while supporting themself/others. I had a fantastic time when I played blue "Warden" – it was the most fun and rewarding class/job in any MMO ever. But at some point, the developers forgot about its existence and let it fall apart in a ditch.

  5. the next tank is too far off to guess. in 7.0+ i’ll have an easier time figuring it out. im 100% sure we are getting a new caster though in 7.0, i can’t wait for 6.3, right now i think it will be something related to the void. what if it’s like an ascian job? damn.

  6. Crusader sounds more like a D&D cleric. Heavy, tank armor and shield with a mace or a hammer, or no shield and a two-handed hammer. They worship a deity and use holy magic. Can be good, neutral, or evil. – For ranged, I would choose something that uses chains they can throw at a distance or use like whips in melee. Perhaps dual-wielding sword for melee that breaks apart and stretches out like super long jagged metal whips for distance. – Caster? Choose your poison. The sky is the limit.
