Wow, what gear is that at 9:18? I have never seen it before, but it looks amazing.
I like the genuine comparison. There's been a lot of hostility as of late (I can admit that I have been at times), and it's good to see content like this. I haven't tried FFXIV pvp yet, but I'd like to. I barely played pvp in WoW, but knew it was good content in Shadowlands. I knew people who only pvp'd (my cousin, for example), and he had a great time with it. But I feel like that takes away from the MMORPG aspect of it. If you only pvp, aren't you missing out on about 90% of what an MMORPG has to offer? "You do you" as they say, but WoW has started to take a direction of mostly instanced MMO content versus MMORPG content.

The weird combos and creatures are what make me love these games. Admittedly I like ffxiv more in this way because you can express your character in so many ways. You can literally be a black knight with a giant sword or you can be a dancing cat girl in a bikini. And in that way it reminds me of ready player 1.
You can't do a shadowlands vs shadowbringers, Not sure why you say the things you do, and everyone does, but FFXIV is not even close to being able to beat World of Warcraft, what FFXIV have is weeb characters, and more customization.
Look at the graphics of FFXIV, it looks like world of warcraft 2006 graphics, no depth, no nothing. The raid bosses in FFXIV is all around, there is nothing, just colours and more colours to cover up how awful it actually is. The combat system is awful, you are bugging around the room while casting spells, and its super super awful.
World of Warcraft have everything, but new ideas.
Sad thing is that WoW has more than double the money to create stuff and they dont use it properly..

Wow is My favorite Game since 2012, and i maybe try FFXIV but i'm angry when people tell me Wow is shit and Quit it for FFXIV.

Been playing WoW since Burning Crusade and had literally countless hours of insane gameplay moments.
But now when I log in I just feel like, "oh ok, another expansion in which I have to "prove" my worth to some new faction for the 200th time".
But I will say one thing about WoW, when I actually can get into the PvP it's super addicting…

Wasup with all FF14 hype? Its a story driven game with few mmo options added to it. Cant co op through story, areas are story locked, enemy dont drop gear, side quests reward are worthless, professions are grindy as hell, expansion maps are empty and bland and the list goes on and on.
Unless WoW feels like true mmo where you can co op and grind gear from enemy and do so much more. Dont understand ppl leaving WoW for FF14
Yeah, but what's the point of being pro in FF14 if there's no esport in this game? Feels like time wasted. In WoW its worth playing this way because they've got MDI or AWC tournaments for example.

FFXIV is owning WoW.
FFXIV ShB has had 5 content patches (even during covid), where WoW SL is struggling to release a single content patch.
And I've been playing WoW since vanilla. It sucks that WoW do the bare minimum, and regularly fail at even that. WoW struggles to even release 3 decent content patches normally, and WoW simply gave up in WOD.
I've just ended my sub to wow I'm normally only into the pvp side of the game but it's pvp has become so bad.
The fast bursty meta is stupid if you aren't playing a meta class you have to play 10 times better just to stand a small chance of winning And no more scaling means gear is even more important then skill. Don't even need to line up cc with some classes as their damage is so high.
Apparently players going in rated pvp is at its all time low.
FFXIV just looks boring and well. poor graphics for a newer game. Shading, character design. meh

It's amazing how the big game WoW is being dominated by FFXIV a game that started many years after WoW.
WOW is dying says enough how many negative comments they are getting, they are all moving to FFXIV, Blizzard does this no one else.
FF14 is for kids besides you need expensive hardware to run it in a computer unless you have a PS5. WOW is for more mature players and can run in almost any computer.
i play both games since legion. They are both similar but they fulfil different needs. I really like PvP and some M+ content with my friends. And for raids i prefer FF14 because of the way smaller number, and the LFG system that actually works fine (Practice mode and reclears, ngl LFR in WoW is complete garbage).
But cant hide the fact that WoW nowdays does not feel good, from business practices and content vision.
Hope the overwhelming surge of people wakes up WoW, i want to play both game when they are doing their best for content.

ok question about ff14. In the videos's where you see skills being used there is alot of bright lights. When you have lots of people using them can you still properly see everything? It looks really overwhelming.
