  8. Not many forgave Fourchenault even after he explained himself. Me in the other hand, I understood him. He is sort of a head figure in his state. Imagine if this was Leonidas and his children. You'd expect Leonidas will be the one to protect his children. While he has his plans, his kids goes about causing ruckus by poking other Empires and undermining his work to save them.

  13. Ah yes, the “God damnit now I have to like Asshole dad” episode.
    I have been waiting for this more than anything since Elpis.

    I so love the harbor scene And I would just ties everything in the game together since the very first time in the cart if you started in 2.0, and watching you react to it was everything I hoped it would be. Of course.

    And the similarities between the forum and the convocation. Both so powerful and wise. And their flaw is that because of this they cannot be missing information because if it was there they would have it, and so messing up because they are missing stuff. Fourchenault nearly destroying his relationship with his kids because he simply isn’t able to consider that he might not have all the info and the Sharleyan strategy isn’t by definition the only option to save the twins.
    … Then again he didn’t have the Connections and time travel possibility that you do but imagine what might have been achieved if The forum had actually reached out instead and sought information instead of assuming that they would by definition be the best to handle things in secret… it’s almost like the theme of this game is hope and belief and cooperation to achieve your goals rather than secrecy and despair. 😁
    Then again… what might the Asians then have done?
