Amazing compilation, the music is so hype. I never played FF14 until a week before asmon did, and it was honestly one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had, each day at work and on my way to work i'd watch/listen to the streams of content i played 1-2 days before and couldn't wait until I got back home so I could play the game.. This went on for many months, the huge community around the game at the time it truly felt like a whole new game launched. And having around ten years worth of content to go through felt SO good. ARR wasn't perfect, but Heavensward blew me away. So many of us were sleeping on the game, I've been unsubbed to WoW ever since Cataclysm and was always looking for that next game but never took FF14 seriously when the few videos I watched did a really really bad job at showing how good the game was.
I actually stopped playing after ShadowBringers and couldn't bring myself to play Endwalker without having the hype from all the streams to watch every day. I knew if I waited I would avoid all the server issues, and have a better experience so I did. I can't wait to get back into the game, and can hardly believe an MMO has an insanely good story that lasts this long and continues storylines through each expansion. I couldn't have asked for a better time to get into the game.
