Oh my, you got to that part already, here's some good news tho. You'll meet her again soon, at the end of HW, soon before Stormblood. And then Alise (Alphie's sister) gonna start playing a bigger role in the story. And oh, I know it's really far in the future, but make sure you do the Omega's storyline. It's really fun and interesting. If you liked Crystal Tower story, you'll enjoy Omega as well.
"I want Minfilia back" I've said the same thing long ago. Knowing what I know now, my heart still ache for her. But it had to be done or otherwise nothing would have gone the way it should.
By the way, good guess on the plot. Here is a very minor hint. Everybody is fighting for the similar things. 😀

wait i thought shadowbringer introduces the 13 reflections/shards? am i just not paying attention all these years (started playing ff14 since 4 months after HW release) or did they revised some of HWs story to fit the latest one? O_O
