My raid group is also on p3s and we made it to 37% last night. Weve lost several members due to life/school/work happening, but weve filled all positions quickly and kept up the progress.
I'm no stranger to raiding but that bird is somethin else haha
Keep up the prog, ruri
I personally never used any spirit because i wanted to kill every boss solo but i have absolutely no prblm with people using summons in EVERY boss fight…it is a mechanic in the game afterall.
Game Designer here, at 38:00 you ask how will Negative skills work, I have a video coming out this year on my channel NOTHING FOR FREE. There are two things I'll bring up:
1) right now a Skill is designated to a 1 Skill Block. Some skills like Fire Resistance has 3 skill blocks ( 1x = +6, 2x = +12, 3x = +20). So for Negative skills -1 Block. So if you had an armor that has a -1 Fire Skill, you'd need 4 Skill Blocks to get +20. We could have Negative skills at this point too. If you had no Fires Res, but unfortunately a Negative -1 Fire Res it would go -6 Fire Res, and would scale up to three as well. -6, -12, 20.
2) part two of my "OLD is NEW" video is this. Skills could be like the old way with THRESHOLD to activate a Skill. Instead of +2 Stun Res thus you need +10 to get at least Stun is Halfed or +15 to negate we go this route using the new way:
You need 3 skill blocks to activate Stun Res 50% reduction, at 5 skills blocks to activate Negate Stun. This idea stacked with the Negative Skills could really bring back the days of only having like 4 to 6 Active Skills. (To be fair I have a 3U set with like 7 or 8 skills, but you can see they had 10 slots available. And fun note you can see 8 skills per page for MHRS they have 8 skills per page and MHWI has 12 per page so having 8 or less skills I think is very reasonable.
When that video drops I'll tweet at you Ruri. Also, apparently Gaijin is a Glare Mage hmmmm. Until next time, Happy Hunting!

GOD'S GIVEN GIRTH 🤣
60 vigor bois, rise up! xD
When they mentioned about negative skills in the video, I would care to disagree. I really hated the negative skills because
they feel like they limited the type of skills you could use. Monster hunter world was the first monster hunter game that I actually tested out every skill in the game because there was no negative skills. The only way I could be in favor of negative skills is if they somehow helped you to activate a skill when you have a negative skill. I believe for example in Rise there is a skill that increases your damage if you attack with negative affinity for example.
Shields Up, Greatshield Soldier Ashes ! you're amazing !! ^___^'
Sellens questline was so sad for me. I’m sorry Sellen!
Switch gang, rise up.
A very interesting thing about old "dual skills" one or both of the skills wouldn't be at max level, and if you wanted max of that skill you would have to put points into the skill to exceed the dual skill
Example with a made up dual skill,
Dual Skill "strong stance"
Has the effects of Guard 5 and Guard up 1.
If you need more of guard or guard up you would need to build up those skills from zero since your points are in the "strong stance" skill, but you have "more" skills just not max without some combination of armor/talisman/decos.
Example if you wanted max guard up with "strong stance" skill.
"Strong stance" (+1-"nth level")
Slot in
Guard up (+3)
Now you have the effects of
Guard 5 and Guard up 3
And since the dual skill probably wouldn't cost 5 levels it would be cheaper to get it for guard, but a bit more costly if you wanted Guard up 3.
To me that would be more interesting and adaptable to the current system.
There’s a marika statue at radahn. I’m on Xbox and I always respond at the marika statue.
OMG finally someone is talking about the godawful target cam! The amount of times I died because I lost lock or the camera freaked out is mindboggling. I love the game, but that's an area where the devs really have to improve on.
I beat the game, and started a new character and I keep finding stuff on my new character that I now need to get on my first character.. this game is just so damn dense
All of gajins complaints about one hits is because he completely leveled vigor wrong. 😂
I've got a +20 and +24 weapon (and a +10 Moonveil) and I haven't gone through Volcano Manor or the capitol. Soon as I get done with the capitol I'll have two +25s thanks to the NPCs who move to Stormveil if you've done their questlines. Upgrade mats are definitely something worth looking up even if you're trying to do a blind playthrough.
That conversation about the word of mouth conversation reminded me of what my MonHun group did with Elden Ring. We all picked wretch, and would trade information. Except the catch was, we kept strict spoiler rules, so we ended up with abstract nicknames for all the areas and bosses. But all the conversations as we were going through the game, were absolute magic
Capcom: PLEASE add power/level syncing!!!!
Oh WOW so awesome to hear Yuna and Gajin are still enjoying Elden Ring! I thought they rolled credit after 90 hours and that was it!. I can't help but feel joy when I hear that RUI, Yuna and Gajin are enjoying the same gaming experience as all of us together like one big happy family 🙂🙂🙂.
Awesome ! Glad to hear the switch is getting some MH love from RUi. I can watch a dozen others play rise on PC but the switch deserves it's time in the sun.
Man, that Tobi-Kadachi bottleneck comment. Oof. I felt it in me bones.
wait theres a malzeno gameplay clip???
I'd say at Radahn and after Radahn regardless of your build you want 40 vigor, and you can stay at 40 vigor for the rest of the game. But 40 vigor is like the bare minimum of health to have regardless of your build. I'd gone insane with my melee with close to 30 vigor. If I want to PvP 60 vigor is NEEDED, not optional NEEDED, otherwise every build under the sun oneshots you.

Don't you buy a switch oled because it was launched on later 2021 and it's already 2022 which means a new console is going to be released… That makes no sense, and it really damages Nintendo sales, why does this message only apply for Nintendo and not playstation or Xbox, which were launched 2 and a half years ago…
That thing gaijin mentioned about the rahdan fight, that didn't happen to me, I respawned on that beach every time. And I got there like 4 days after launch.
I was on base ps4.
now you see, more event equipment like world isn't the issue. the issue was Square payed Capcom extra for advertising to make that shit everywhere you look even outside the quest so that took on the form of it being the only god dam armor you want to use for damage. they can and should do a bunch of armor and weapons but more like every other event set, excluding that attrocity,, so that armors have niche uses or have like a piece that slightly improves a bunch of sets or maybe the meta a little best example is the DMC event, we got the best legs but that's it and i guess a cool looking ok CB. event equipment should more so elevate builds/play styles the game neglected in its initial roster like if we got a set that's not ugly shit and can work for a friendship build or something with maybe in some cases the mixed set would be better or have pieces that can even assist said mixed set depending on talismans. another example would be say niche guard pieces that are between diablos and bazel but in some set ups could be best for that. we also could have gotten more silly weapon designs that again are not meta but have niche uses or are just fun. negative skills i'm all for so long as they are also restrained a bit, no "this is a great lance set but has the anything 1 shots you unless you block" skill or best DPS set but areal attack hit for 0 cause fuck IG. as long as they aren't stupid i'm fine with balancing some negative skills. all you would need is the skill having negative levels listed with their effects and some armor would have like wex -2 so -30 unless you hit weak points so to get wex 3 from that you would then need 5 decos on that set. that is literally it, it's very simple but they'd have to balance it properly and have a lot of options.
Rui plays gun lance, isn't he already synced down?
Best intro ever 😂😂🫡🫡
Sounds like gijin and Yuna didn't invest in vigor
They could update decorations to have negative skills and have MR armor to have them as well which will let talisman be a method of going around negative skills like they use too
I remember a friend of mine built sets just for Rock Paper Scissors. He made the bug sets specifically to fight elder dragons. Because they always had dragon attack +2 and good resistances
bruh Gajin the MINIMUM for casual play at 75% through the playthrough is 40 health omg 😭
my final weapon of my STR char is the Golem's Halberd. top that :v
so uh, ruri, i did look up and followed that ranni quest after becoming elden lord. so they were all dead anyway. but the quest still worked. just not as intended. you can just follow the steps and go to the places. i just couldnt get the ranni ending obviously because i was already elden lord but i got the quest up to that last point. i still married her.
So spoilers but…
Nepheli doesn't have to die, the new update made her quest actually completable.
What about relational or activated skills. You can have a really powerfull skills. But they need other less often equipped skills in order to proc or activate. Take for instance a new tier of critical eye. But it requires say 2 slots or level 2 teir mushroom mancer in order to activate the new tier of critical eye. At that point the the armor peices or slots are now competing for space rather than just endlessly leveling up and forces you to use lesser used skills. In my opinion this can kind of make armor like a game of tetris and getting the most out of your armor would be like making a giant block with weird blocks (lesser used skilled armor/slots) already down. Now you have to figure out with the remaining space left how you can best fit in new blocks to get the total giant block that you are working towards.
My favorite boss, is the second dear.
deviant gear, r series, wyporium, and limit break early armor can give them bonus slot/skill like narwabushi so they don't go obsolete. take my money, capcom
I recently got into the souls series through bloodborne, but for now I am taking a break to get myself ready for elden ring. I am mostly waiting for when I can get physical copy, but it looks amazing and it’s been torture to see all the videos on it and not being able to play it yet.
"Hey can I get a heal over here?"
"SHUT UP I'M DEALING DAMAGE NOW, P E A S A N T!"
