  1. Every one of these videos from every creator will be different, mainly due to their own tastes allowing things to stick out to them. Me? I'm a Raider, but I like everything you mentioned thats coming. a Raider that does Story for FUN. I know, hard to believe. But PvP is one area of FFXIV I haven't really liked, and only do as a means to an end. But that new mode? Oddly looks like Bomberman, Overwatch, and Final Fantasy had a crazy night following an even crazier party, and wound up with a baby. It looks interesting for sure, and if you'll be streaming it, I may need to take part, Win or lose, just to have us some fun! Jobs will get balanced too, there are likely to be a LOT of balance changes on patch day, so the patch notes are DEFINITELY worth a read.

    And as for you hiding in a corner from the harder content, finish Endwalker first when you are able to without burning yourself out, and then if you need someone who is patient and willing to help you learn, Hit me up! My advice is to start with Extreme fights, as they showcase some of the chances that happen from Normal to savage, but are a LOT more lenient. Once comfortable with that, assuming you like it, of course, there's savage and Ultimate on top of that. But the first rule should be not to do anything you really dislike. It is a game, after all, meant to be fun, and Yoshi-P himself has said to go play something else if you're not having fun, and return when there's content you want to do.

    Also, Welcome to the stabile patch cycle, Peebs! New stuff every 4 months! and a dev team that very obviously cares about their end User Experience!

  2. More glamour plates is great news. It did sound to me like a larger rework is probably farther off. Of course part of the appeal of Ishgard housing is that you get the pretty aspects of snow without actually having to be cold and wet.

  3. Oh I did want to mention that there is a problem with the "Allied Tribe" quests. There are currently "Allied Beast Tribe Quests" unlocked when you have maxed all the tribes in a given expansion. And Allied Allied Tribe quests just sounds silly. Personally I think there best shot is probably just to drop the word beast. Tribe Quests and Allied Tribe Quests are perfectly functional names.

  4. YoshiP did a good job of managing expectations in the live letter. He would address expectations when he said update graphics, gave realistic timelines, and gave reasonable explanations about why stuff was happening. I honestly hate the word 'roadmap' because of how disposable they are to a lot of developers, but this one seems reasonable. Even if some items get pushed back I feel like the timeline was made in good faith.

  7. I would most like it if we could have a mix of trust and players. For instance, my husband works retail and many times HATES dealing with random people in a dungeon, but would like to play with me when I'm doing stuff, the two of us + trust would be awesome.

    I want a glam plate for every job. DANGIT – I WANT my Alchemist to have alchemist glam, my culinarian, etc….. but that's 9 plates for my crafters alone and we only get 15. Then there's the artifact gear (not all of which I like for EW – but enough that I'm like, okay, there's more glam plates. sigh not enough glam plates for me.

    Custom Delivery however is the content I'm MOST excited for in 6.1 – strictly crafting/gathering, but the BEST bang for your buck in crafting and gathering scrips. And it's the twins MOM who's our delivery person!

    And I am NOT moving out of Mist for Ishgard…. NOPE…. I'd like a larger house though – my poor house is dang near FULL.

    And you're closer to the end of the 6.0 MSQ than you think…….
